Gristmill Lawn
In 1832, a cotton gin was built next to an 80-foot cascading waterfall in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. In the 1850’s, a stone gristmill was also built. With lack of use, the wooden mill was lost to time. While the slate roof of the stone mill has fallen in, the cinematic walls remain today.
The Gristmill Lawn sits at the base of the waterfall and accommodates larger weddings of up to 300 people. This is a beautiful North Georgia outdoor wedding site with nature and history surrounding you! This is the historic outdoor wedding venue that you've been looking for!

The Back Porch & Patio
The Back Porch Patio is the initial entry place for weddings, and can also be used for elopements and non wedding events.
It provides a beautiful view of the falls and gristmill and includes a stunning stone isle walkway in a manicured setting.

Coosa Hall
Coosa Hall is a barn style building with rustic elegance that includes chandeliers and vintage decorations.
This is a barn wedding with an upscale twist! It is fully decorated, is heated and air-conditioned, has a covered outside patio area, a dance area, serving kitchen and view of the creek and pasture. We provide tables, chairs, and venue setup and cleanup for this building. It holds up to 150 inside and up to 300 including outside.

Cottage & cabins
Located on the property is a cottage and eleven camping cabins. The cottage is one of the getting ready spaces for weddings, and is a cozy one bedroom, one bathroom cottage with a den, kitchen and hair/makeup station.
The camping cabins, which sleep up to four people per cabin, (Queen bed + bunk beds), include electricity, mattresses, and ceiling fans. We also have a "den style" cabin with sofa, chairs, small refrigerator and TV that can be used as another getting ready space for weddings. All cabins are insulated and include both an air-conditioner and heater. Guests need to bring linens, pillows and all personal toiletries.
We also have a bathhouse and a covered pavilion. Picnic areas are located along the mountain stream, and there are woodland trails for hiking and a recreational field for outdoor activities. We will rent the cabins the night of your event, checkout time is 9:00 am.
We do not rent to individuals. It must be part of a group event and all payments and reservations will go through the booking individual. *3 Cabin minimum rental.
